Our new brewery

We’re officially up and running in our new brewery

Just 10 minutes down the road from our Riuwaka brewery, we’re now in Motueka. Still the heart of hop country, but with waaay more room.  

We’ve got a whole heap of exciting plans, including some cracking new drops. In fact, our first brew is set for release very soon - a brand new Hazy Pale Ale, First Drop, packed with Motueka (seemed fitting!) and Amarillo hops. Starting with a bang, it’s a brew bursting with zingy crushed citrus aroma and rounded bitterness. As well as new brews, Simon and Dean are revamping the current range, making every brew even more hop-forward, refreshing, and delicious. A bigger, better brewery calls for bigger, better brews!

GOODBYE RIuWAKA TAPROOM, HELLO TO 3 NEW HOP FEDERATION HUBS

While we’re sad to say goodbye to our much-loved Riuwaka Taproom from 15 September, it’s hello to 2 new Hop Federation hubs within 12 minutes… Toad Hall and Riwaka Hotel!

Hop Federation beers are currently on tap at both restaurants, but by October, you’ll also be able to purchase riggers, 6 packs, 440ml cans, and merch at taprooms in each place.

For Nelsonians, we’ve also got big plans with Burger Culture, launching at Feast Whakatū on 25 November.
